Wildlands Network , E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation, ARC Solutions, Endangered Species Coalition, International Fund for Animal Welfare, The Wilderness Society, in cooperation with Honorary Hosts Representative Don Beyer (D-VA), and Senator Ben Ray Luján (D-NM) are pleased to announce, “Saving America’s Biodiversity: Wildlife Corridor Protection, Partnerships and Strategies with Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation.”

This briefing and reception is to align with Half-Earth Day 2022, and the Half-Earth Project supported via legislation from Rep. Beyer. The event will take place at U.S. Capitol Visitor Center: Congressional Auditorium and Atrium,
October 12, 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm EDT.

Join us for a welcome reception with Queen Quet, Chieftess of the Gullah/Geechee Nation.

Discussion topics include wildlife corridors, the Wildlife Corridors Conservation Act (H.R. 2795), challenges facing biodiversity, finding solutions, and building partnerships, and include Representative Don Beyer (D-VA), Levi Patterson, Legislative Assistant for Energy/Environment, Office of Senator Luján (D-NM), Nada Culver, Deputy Director of Policy and Programs, Bureau of Land Management, Carlton Ward, Florida Wildlife Corridor, Jodi Hilty, Yellowstone to Yukon Conservation Initiative and many more distinguished guests.
